Job Description As a Reference Data Management Operations - Market Data - Analyst within the Reference Data Management - Market Data Analysis Operations Team, you will be accountable for meeting the requirements of internal clients across Asset and Wealth Management Lines of Business within JP Morgan. You will aid in the continuous development and management of a centralized data repository for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), Funds, Corporate, and Instrument analytics data obtained from third-party data vendors and internal sources. This role offers an opportunity to refine your data management and analysis skills, and to collaborate with various teams within the organization. Job Responsibilities Act as SME of various Vendor datasets to support analysis of consumer queries and provide timely resolution Having domain expertise for ESG, Funds, corporate and instrument analytic data in MDA. Define & Enhance Business Rules that automatically identify consumer critical data exceptions and publish alerts to consumers Support New Product and Consumer onboarding to MDA Research data issues identified by consumers and DQ alerts, identify likely causes and route to relevant parties or resolution Analyze and document consumer data usage patterns to identify consumer critical health checks and escalate data exceptions to relevant Consumers Collaborate & Partner with technology and Product teams for Change & Production release. Raise Incident tickets with vendors highlighting data issues & follow-up with vendor for fix Help vendors improve data quality by highlighting recurring patterns, data inconsistencies and potential data health checks or process changes to improve data at source Maintain inventory of vendor data incidents, feedbacks and resolution status Profile new data sets to identify and document characteristics required to build logical data models, data quality checks and exception alerts aligned to consumer priorities . Ensure SOPs are updated and proper controls are in place to reduce risks Required Qualification, Skills And Capabilities Minimum of 4 years of experience in Financial Services with Data Management / Data Quality / Business Analysis background Proficiency in manipulating and analyzing large data sets in Excel (pivots, formulas, charts, etc.) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to think strategically with respect to data, technology, risk/control and operations agenda Excellent communication, presentation (both oral and written) & influencing skills with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels and across disciplines in a virtual organization.
