Founded: 2002Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled iSeries Developer experienced in CLLE, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, and Stored Procedures to design, develop, and support business applications for our esteemed client, Birlasoft. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coding, unit testing, providing UAT and production support, and ensuring the high performance and reliability of business-critical systems.Key Responsibilities:
- Modify existing programs as per evolving business requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain business applications on the iSeries platform.
- Provide technical support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Offer production support for live systems and respond to system issues.
- Support the functional team with technical insights and resolutions.
- Analyze jobs in error and manage resolution through appropriate action.
- Assist the help desk with off-hours/weekend support for application-related issues.
- Work independently and communicate effectively with client stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience in iSeries system analysis, design, and development.
- Good understanding of Subfile Programming and DB2 databases.
- Proficiency in coding, unit testing, and technical support for UAT.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for application errors and performance issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact independently with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a hybrid work model.
- Flexible to support critical production issues during off-hours/weekends as needed.
