ELECTRICAL INCHARGE SMS FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - RASMADA , CHHATTISGARH

• Maintenance & Breakdown Management: Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for SMS equipment (motors, transformers, VFDs, panels, switchgears).
• Troubleshooting & Reliability: Rapidly diagnose and resolve electrical faults, particularly in EAF/LRF furnace systems and EOT cranes, to keep production running.
• Shift Supervision & Coordination: Lead a team of electrical technicians and operators, managing shift activities and coordinating with production/mechanical teams to optimize tap-to-tap time.
• Power & Safety Management: Monitor power consumption, ensure compliance with IE rules/safety norms, and maintain safety records for electrical installations.
• Documentation & Reporting: Use SAP/ERP to maintain maintenance records, shift logs, and conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on repeated breakdowns.
• Spares Management: Manage critical spares inventory for quick replacement.

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of HT/LT motors, AC/DC drives, PLC/SCADA/HMI systems, and switchgears.
• Experience: 5–15 years of relevant experience in SMS electrical maintenance, with strong familiarity with Induction Furnace/EAF operations.
• Leadership: Strong team management and communication skills to direct staff, particularly during maintenance shifts.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read control circuit drawings and troubleshooting tools (multimeters, meggers).

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering.
• Certification: ITI/NCVT passed for technician-level or supervisory roles.

• Heavy industrial environment (Steel Melt Shop/Foundry).
• Rotating shift availability is required.
• Frequent involvement in shut-down maintenance and capital repairs.
