Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes3. Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results4. Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cyber security threats5. Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes6. Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended7. Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.Daily and Monthly Responsibilities1. Deploy updates and fixes2. Provide technical support3. Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve experience4. Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems5. Perform root cause analysis for production errors6. Investigate and resolve technical issues7. Develop scripts to automate visualization8. Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.Pre-requisite skills required for a DevOps Engineer role include1 .BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field2. Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar Infrastructure engineering role3. Experience working on Linux based infrastructure4. Excellent understanding of shell5. Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles6. Working knowledge in AWS cloud services & Docker & Jenkins (CL / CD) & Monitoring tools Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, Mongo7. Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services8. Strong knowledge in Apache and Nginx Web servers9.
