We are looking for a highly skilled Tech Lead / Senior Software Engineer to take charge of hands-on coding and code evaluation for our GenAI projects. This role is not just about leadership. It requires strong technical depth and the ability to directly engage with complex coding challenges.Core Responsibilities:
- Code Generation & Improvement: Write, review, and refine code to address complex, real-world problems.
- Code Validation Frameworks: Design and maintain testing frameworks, automated benchmarks, and evaluation methods to assess the quality of model-generated code.
- Code Quality & Performance: Improve the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of both human- and AI-generated code.
- Collaboration: Work closely with research, product, and engineering teams to incorporate feedback and strengthen model performance.
- Experience: 7–10+ years of developing and delivering large-scale software solutions.
- Programming Expertise: Strong proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, Java, C, C++, JavaScript. Ability to adapt across multiple languages for validation and refinement tasks.
- Code Evaluation Skills: Experience building test suites, defining quality metrics, and assessing correctness, efficiency, and security.
- GenAI Exposure (Preferred): Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), code generation, and model fine-tuning/evaluation.
- Accelerating development: Speeding up validation and refinement cycles for code-generating models.
- Raising quality standards: Ensuring AI-generated code is reliable, secure, and production-ready.
- Driving innovation: Bringing deep technical expertise to solve highly complex GenAI coding challenges.
- Priority Languages: Python, Java, C, C++, JavaScript.
- Domain Knowledge: STEM fields, data analysis/science, data visualization.
- Other Tools & Tech: Web visualization platforms, SQL/databases, JSON, HTML, Markdown, and data libraries.
- Seniority: Tech Lead level—particularly relevant given increasing demand for smaller, high-complexity datasets.
- Alternative Profiles: We are also open to Technical Raters—individuals who may not be deep coders but have solid expertise in JavaScript/JSON, HTML, and Markdown. These skills are valuable for specialized tasks requiring formatting and structured data handling.
