Reporting To: Director – Data & AIRole SummaryWe are seeking a visionary and technically accomplished Principal Data Scientist to lead advanced AI/ML initiatives across the organization. This role demands deep expertise in machine learning, generative AI, computer vision, and cloud-native AI solutions, with a strong emphasis on innovation, governance, and cross-functional collaboration.Key Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the development of scalable ML/DL models for real-world applications.
- Drive innovation using Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, and autonomous systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to align AI solutions with strategic goals.
- Lead MLOps implementation for automated training, evaluation, and deployment (Azure preferred).
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical and compliant AI development.
- Mentor and upskill data science teams on emerging technologies and best practices.
- Represent the organization in external forums, conferences, and thought leadership initiatives.
- 10+ years in Data Science, AI/ML, with proven leadership in enterprise-scale projects.
- Expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, AutoGen, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Strong foundation in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, NLP, computer vision, and time series forecasting.
- Experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Gemini, Llama), orchestration tools (e.g., Crew AI, LangGraph), and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS).
- Familiarity with quantum computing concepts and their intersection with AI.
- Proven track record in integrating AI into product development and business operations.
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field.
- Certifications from Microsoft, AWS, IIT-Delhi, or equivalent in AI/ML, GenAI.
- Experience in Agile environments and leading cross-functional teams.
