- Handle independent projects related to improving our process and provide timely results
- Works closely with Leadership team on specific projects
- Contribute to the creation of OKRs and business objectives
- Train new members in the team and provide guidance
- Evaluate and help to improve our collection of relevant and permissible data sources to support our ability to identify possible physical security risks to organizations and executives
- Provide escalation support including on-call duty which may include weekends and nights
- Research of general and emerging physical security threats and trends
- Provide qualified feedback to engineering, configuration, customer success, and other operational teams
- Collaborate with team members in an effective manner.
- Work on a shift schedule which could include consistent rotating night shifts or weekends.
- Ad hoc event and crisis coverage.
- Other duties as assigned
- xperience working within a Threat Intel or SOC operations team, typically obtained in 7+ years
- Experience as a Team Lead or Management within a Threat Intel or SOC operations team
- Ability to lead others by example and through collaborative communication
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience..
- Awareness of general political and social trends both domestically and internationally
- Awareness of general trends in violence on a global scale
- Subject-matter expertise around physical security threats ranging from indiscriminate violence to targeted ideological incursions
- Deep understanding of social media and how people speak and communicate on various social networks
- Ability to learn our internal workflows, products, proprietary and third-party tools
- Ability to track and address multiple conflicting assignments on a daily basis
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving and communications skills including verbal, written, presentation
- Ability to stay engaged during repetitive, detail-oriented tasks
- Strong sense of self-motivation and desire for growth
- Capability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Past experience in conducting OSINT methodology across social media networks, including both mainstream and obscure sources
- Proficiency in at least one additional language besides English. Spanish, Arabic, Russian, or a Chinese language
- College degree in a field related to international security, political science, journalism, or a similar degree which focuses on human conflict; or 4 years of similar work experience is a bonus.
