Job Description: NGO Field Fundraising Officer in Delhi/NCR Position: NGO Field Fundraising Officer Location: Delhi/NCR Summary: An NGO Field Fundraising Officer plays a critical role in raising funds for the organization's charitable programs and initiatives. This position is responsible for engaging with potential donors and supporters in the field to secure financial contributions for the NGO's projects. The role involves building relationships, promoting the NGO's mission, and encouraging individuals and businesses to contribute to the organization's causes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Fundraising Campaign Execution: Plan and execute fundraising campaigns in accordance with the NGO's objectives and goals. This includes coordinating various fundraising events, drives, and initiatives. 2. Donor Engagement: Engage with potential donors, individuals, and organizations in the field. Build rapport and relationships to cultivate long-term support. 3. Public Awareness: Raise awareness about the NGO's mission and programs through face-to-face interactions, presentations, and discussions with potential donors. 4. Educate and Inform: Educate donors about the impact and outcomes of the NGO's projects, ensuring transparency and building trust. 5. Donation Collection: Collect financial contributions and donations from individuals and organizations using secure and ethical methods. Maintain accurate records of donations received. 6. Data Management: Maintain donor databases and ensure that donor information is accurate, up to date, and securely managed. 7. Target Achievement: Meet or exceed fundraising targets and objectives as set by the organization. 8. Feedback and Reporting: Provide regular feedback and reports on fundraising activities and outcomes to the NGO management team. 9. Networking: Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses, community groups, and individuals who may support the NGO's work. 10. Compliance: Ensure that all fundraising activities comply with local and national regulations and ethical standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, business, or nonprofit management). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in fundraising, sales, or customer relations is a plus. Knowledge of the NGO's mission, programs, and initiatives. Understanding of fundraising principles and best practices. Ability to work independently, set and achieve targets, and manage time effectively. Proficiency in local languages and English for effective communication.
