- Implementation and application of global Performance and Reward processes and products in India.
- Ensure compliance with global/ local statutory/ regulatory requirements and face off with auditors/ regulators (Reserve Bank of India / Labor departments)
- Ensure local regulatory requirements regarding CEO compensation (submission, approvals etc.) and other Reward related compliance aspects
- Manage the internal and external audits pertaining to the reward processes.
- Support in the review and implementation of Labour Code changes, once mandated by the labour department.
- Perform regular and ad-hoc analytics to review and support proposals as per business need.
- Manage compensation benchmarking exercise including liaison with global Performance and Reward, and external service providers
- Local coordination of global annual year end compensation process, any off-cycle processes and for mid-year progression.
- Education of HR teams and businesses on DB’s Performance and Reward philosophy, practices and decision-making processes to ensure understanding and adherence to Performance and Reward processes and governance requirements
- Manage external service providers in necessary engagement with internal DB stakeholders
- Develop first-level proposals for any new Performance and Reward initiatives/ adaptations for India and engage global Performance and Reward
- Manage local Performance and Reward communication requirements including employee handbooks and HR Connect content
- Provide Performance and Reward advisory expertise for the solution of local business needs, complex individual queries, project-related initiatives and general implementation of Performance and Reward products and solutions. Work closely with HRBP / BAC and other teams.
- Support COEs to build understanding of reward framework and other performance and compensation related advisory aspects
- Local facilitation for DB compensation plans and benefit programs and governance requirements
- First level conceptualization and engagement on local EVP delivery including benefit and wellness programs
- 5-8 years of relevant experience into Performance and Reward area would be essential
