A complete, accurate, real-time financial picture empowers businesses to make timely and smart decisions so their business can thrive.DescriptionWe are looking for a Director of Accounting Operations who will play a critical role in steering our organization towards achieving its financial and operational goals. This individual will lead the accounting operations of our organization, ensuring excellence in financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. The Director will be pivotal in shaping financial strategies, optimizing accounting processes, and enhancing team performance to support our growth and vision.Responsibilities:● Lead the development of accounting strategies, aligning them with organizational goals and ensuring their effective execution.● Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including but not limited to, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.● Ensure compliance with GAAP, as well as other applicable financial and tax regulations.● Spearhead the optimization of accounting processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.● Direct the preparation and review of financial statements and reports, providing insights to support executive decision-making.● Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, offering analytical support to optimize financial performance.● Oversee the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring a smooth and compliant audit.● Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.● Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to keep the accounting operations at the forefront of best practices.Requirements● Minimum 15+ years of experience in US accounting, with at least 5-7 years in a leadership role.● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CA certification preferred.● Strong knowledge of US Accounting Practices (GAAP, financial regulations, and accounting best practices)● Rich experience in audit, client advisory, customer success, partner, etc.● Ability to managing big operations team● Experience with financial systems and software, including ERP systems.● Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.● Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.● Results-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.● Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.● Flexible to work in US shiftsBenefits
