You will mentor a team to achieve high levels of reliability and consistency on the production line. You will play a strategic role in developing and implementing continuous improvements to our processes to ensure we create quality products.As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

·Managing an operation, business, unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. Team management of salaried employees. This does not include production supervisors who oversee hourly employees.
Conducting frequent interactions on manager level with Engineering, maintenance, planning and enabling functions about technical and organizational alignment.
Handling complex manufacturing processes. Manufacturing department has to define approaches. Variety due to customization to client needs.
Leading a medium sized manufacturing unit with a budget

Have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical with minimum 15 years experience in a related field or demonstrate equivalent, professional work experience
Demonstrate solid experience gained within a manufacturing environment
Demonstrate experience of people management and leading and developing a team
· Be able to show excellent problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills
