The AR Caller will be responsible for managing accounts receivable for medical services rendered, ensuring timely payments from insurance companies, and resolving any discrepancies or denials. Key Responsibilities: - Review and follow up on outstanding claims with insurance companies for medical services provided. - Initiate timely and effective communication with insurance companies to expedite claim processing and resolve payment discrepancies. - Verify insurance eligibility and coverage details for patients to ensure accurate billing and claims submission. - Identify and resolve billing issues, including claim denials, rejections, and underpayments, through thorough investigation and follow-up. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communication and actions taken regarding accounts receivable. - Collaborate with internal teams, including medical coding and billing departments, to address any billing or coding errors and optimize claim submission. - Provide excellent customer service to patients and insurance companies by addressing inquiries and concerns regarding billing and claims status. - Stay updated on industry regulations, payer policies, and coding guidelines to ensure compliance and maximize reimbursement.
