- Guide authors from initial outline to final publication, ensuring content meets technical and learner needs.
- Perform substantive developmental edits, focusing on clarity, flow, and usability across diverse content formats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape positioning, newsletters, and campaign messaging.
- Contribute to the success of non-book formats, including events, research briefs, and multimedia content.
- Build working knowledge of engines and technology stacks such as Unreal, Unity, Godot, Blender, RTOS, Edge AI, and IoT.
- Track emerging trends like AR/VR and AI-assisted workflows, integrating insights into product design.
- Engage with users, reviewers, and communities to gather feedback and continuously improve offerings.
- Proven experience in substantive or developmental editing, ideally with technical or instructional material.
- Strong ability to simplify and structure complex concepts into clear, engaging content.
- Excellent English writing, editing, and communication skills with sound editorial judgment.
- Experience managing author and subject-matter expert relationships, providing constructive feedback.
- Confidence in working beyond books, supporting newsletters, events, and campaign-related content.
- Quick adaptability to new tools, technologies, and workflows.
- Curiosity and willingness to build knowledge in Game Development and/or Embedded Systems.
- Bonus: exposure to engines, toolchains, AI tools, or live content formats.
