- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and route incoming calls promptly and accurately
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean and presentable at all times
- Provide information to visitors regarding our services, exhibits, and events
- Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings for internal staff
- Accept and sign for packages and notify recipients of their arrival
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and sorting mail
- Handle inquiries and complaints from clients and provide appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth office operations
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service
- Positive and professional demeanor with a genuine desire to assist others
- Knowledge of museum operations or experience in the cultural sector is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus
