- Conduct end-to-end accessibility audits for websites, web applications, and digital content using both manual and automated testing methods.
- Identify, document, and prioritize accessibility issues in accordance with WCAG 2.1/2.2, ADA, Section 508, and other relevant standards.
- Generate detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations for designers, developers, and product teams.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to support implementation of accessibility fixes and best practices.
- Assist in defining accessibility requirements during product planning and design phases.
- Perform assistive technology testing using screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack), keyboard-only navigation, and other AT tools.
- Stay up to date with accessibility laws, emerging trends, and evolving compliance standards.
- Educate and mentor internal teams on accessibility principles and inclusive design.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the WebYes accessibility audit tool, leveraging it to conduct comprehensive audits of internal and external sites.
- 4+ years of experience in web accessibility consulting or a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of web accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1, ADA, and Section 508.
- Experience with accessibility audit tools.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA roles for accessibility implementations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical solutions.
- Strong communication and training skills, capable of effectively articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications in accessibility (e.g., CPACC, WAS, or CPWA).
- A deep understanding of various disabilities and how they affect web accessibility.
- Experience in working with diverse teams and promoting inclusive work environments.
