Job Description : Job Description This is senior individual contributor role working in Post-Si Validation driving CPU/SoC program management covering functional, electrical, power/performance, Security aspects to meet Quality and Schedule expectations. Candidate should be very well versed with SoC program lifecycles and quality expectations of different milestones. Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with SoC Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon Validation teams in improving post-silicon quality, schedule and risk mitigations. Will represent CPU/SoC readiness for post-silicon milestones for customer delivery at different forums and executive reviews. Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's in Hardware Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 12-20 years of experience Candidate Must have high degree of architecture/ microarchitecture experience in CPU/SoC/Chipset/and one of the subsystems areas given below Strong knowledge and skills of Intel IA32, ARM, PowerPC or GPU post-silicon validation Good breadth knowledge of functional, electrical, power-perforormance and security Depth understanding of 1 or 2 technical domains in either functional, electrical Having done roles like Validation architect or System Debug lead in an SoC program will be a big plus Should have been part of critical program sightings and customer support issues Proven skills of program managing a complex program leveraging his/her broad technical skills is must. Will work closely with technical and mgmt community for schedule/cost optimizations and risk management Excellent written and oral communications and experience of working in a cross functional and cross site team environment are essential.
