The Role Mission: The main responsibility of Design/Sr. Design Engineer in Mechanical design Engineered Solutions competence in CPC Pump team is to manage the Design and Development projects independently to ensure the timely delivery of the high quality. Design and drawing in the field of compressor manufactured at different division of Atlas Copco around the world. Roles and Responsibilities: Prepare engineering designs and drawings of machined components, welded fabrications, pipe layouts and full assemblies of pumps in both SolidWorks & AutoCAD Prepare and release engineering documents such as bills of materials and contract documents (Outline drawings, sectionals, inspection and test plans etc.) Review pump layouts, engineering documents and drawings for conformity and errors Develop/maintain existing and new engineering standards through cooperation with the different engineering functions Review contract requirements and customer specifications to ensure compliance with purchase order, industry standards and applicable regulatory requirements Review pump design and sub-components to ensure proper fit and design along with compliance with customer specifications What you can expect from us A work culture known for respectful interaction, ethical behaviour, and integrity Access to Global Job opportunities as a part of Atlas Copco Group Opportunities to grow and develop Potential to see your ideas realized and to make an impact New challenges and new learnings What we expect of you Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing/industrial field is preferred Experience with rotating equipment (pumps, turbines, motors, etc.) is an asset Experience with pressure vessels and structural fabrication is an asset Knowledge of common industry standards is preferred (e.g. ASME, ASTM, API) Computer Skills: SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software (CSWA/CSWP Recommended) AutoCAD for 2D sketching Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Personal Attributes: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work multiple projects at the same time Well organized and able to prioritize tasks Attention to detail is a must Proven self-starter with strong work ethic, high energy and positive attitude City - Pune Last Day to Apply 24/04/2024 Diverse by nature and inclusive by choice Bright ideas come from all of us.
