Lead – Data Architect

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of data architecture and data modeling solutions for airport operations, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements and translate them into effective database designs and data management strategies.
Proven experience in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Azure ,SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
Provide technical leadership and guidance in the development of data standards, policies, and best practices.
Oversee the integration of new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing airport systems.
Conduct regular evaluations and optimizations of the data architecture to support evolving business needs.
Define and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry regulations.
Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in data management and architecture and make recommendations for their application in the airport industry.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Master's degree in data science, Computer Engineering, or relevant discipline preferred.
15-20 years of experience in data architecture and management
Demonstrated experience in airport or aviation industry is highly preferred.
