- Maintain and acquire new relationships with various types of borrowers for identifying lending opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with other syndication/DCM desks to source deals for lending business
- Maintain and manage relationship with corporate clients for business development, monitoring etc
- Liaison with internal stakeholders like origination, credit, legal, operations etc in the underwriting process and run the proposal end to end.
- Ensure correct structuring of the proposal to ensure innovative solutions to the client and at the same time build credit worthiness of the proposal and legal correctness
- Liasoning with origination team and the borrowers to get the data/ information for credit due dilignce
- Understanding and Analyzing and the data, business model, financials, news etc
- Preparation of appraisal memorandum, financial model, presentation for approval process
- Documentation, disbursal and post disbursal monitoring
- End to end deal management
- Strong relationship with other syndication desk in the market to source deals for books
- Knowledge of capital market debt products, credit, structures, legal
