Within Advisory, PwC has a large team that enables government organisations to transform and
provide better service to citizens and optimize operations. The open position is for a candidate who
desires to work with government clients and bring about a change in society. A successful candidate
will be expected to work pro-actively and effectively on multiple client engagements over the period of
time and take ownership of the entire project delivery he/she entrusted with.
The candidate should strong interpersonal skills, who not only enjoys the challenge of working with
other team members but externally with a diverse, senior-Government officials across varied Ministries
and PSUs. Recent experience and understanding of the Indian business ecosystem and government
initiatives is a must.
The candidate will be required to showcase excellent communication skills and will have demonstrated
consistently the skill and capability in delivering impactful and insightful projects in the past. He/she
will also be required to participate in client meetings and, during the course of a project, will be
responsive to client enquiries, eventually leading the delivery engagement.
They will also be expected to contribute to Practice or Firm development. This may be adjudged in
various ways such as serving as a mentor to other team members, by leading training/development
initiatives, contributing to thought leadership papers, assisting other network firms etc.
Positions are with PwC’s One Consulting| Responsible Development Services| Citizen Services practice,
which works with Central & State Governments, PSUs, donor agencies etc. The position can be based in
Dehradun. However, the ideal candidate should not have any constraints to travel for work related
opportunities, whether domestic or internationally.Roles & Responsibilities:
 Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive emerging technologies
program.
 Develop and execute the program's strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and
objectives.
 Establish effective governance structures and processes to ensure the program's success.2 | Page
 Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify and address emerging
technologies risks and threats.
 Manage a team of professionals, providing technical guidance and support on emerging
technologies issues.
 Develop and deliver training and awareness sessions for organization employees on emerging
technologies best practices.
 Collaborate with international organizations and agencies on emerging technologies issues.
 Monitor and evaluate the program's effectiveness and impact and make adjustments as
necessary.
 Willingness to travel
Educational Qualifications
 Post-Graduation: master’s degree in technology (Computer Science/ IT / or a relevant
field)/Business Administration AND
 Graduation: Bachelor of Technology Degree in Computer Science/IT/ECE, or a related field.
 Candidates with PhD in related fields or Relevant License/Certification/Designation are preferred.
Certifications
Candidates with Relevant License/Certification are preferred.
Work Experience
 Minimum of 7 years of experience in emerging technologies, with at least 2 years in a leadership
role.
 Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive emerging technologies
programs.
 Experience in programs involving extensive communication and coordination with stakeholders.
 Experience in working in a consulting role in providing emerging technology solutions to
government agencies is preferred.

 IoT: Fair understanding of different sensors/micro-controllers like ZigBee Wi-Fi etc. Rapid
prototyping using Raspberry Pi etc.
 Quantum Computing: Quantum mechanics principles including superposition, entanglement, and
error correction etc. Algorithms like Shor’s factorization, QAOA etc. Programming languages like
Qiskit, Cirq, ProjectQ etc.
 Metaverse: VR/AR/MR/XR etc. Software including platforms like Meta Quest, Microsoft HoloLens
etc.
 Thorough understanding of different drone types, familiarity of various sensors mounted on drones
including cameras, LiDAR, Multi-spectral sensors etc.
 Cloud: AWS, Azure, Google cloud etc.
Required Skill Sets
The Team Lead cum Sr. Expert will be responsible for managing a team of professionals and providing3 | Page
technical guidance and support on emerging technologies issues. The Team Lead will also be responsible
for overseeing the design, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive emerging technologies
program. She/he will also be responsible for overall coordination, supervision of the activities and
support The role will involve working closely with internal teams and external partners to develop and
execute the program's strategy, ensure effective governance, and drive impactful outcomes. S/he shall
regularly assess the status of projects & programmes and present status reports including analytical
reports with clear recommendations. S/he shall proactively pursue emerging critical areas in Artificial
Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Cloud Computing,
Quantum Computing. The Team Lead shall specifically facilitate judicious and timely actions for
implementing and facilitating action to meet the commitments as per agreed time frame.
 Strong understanding of emerging technologies principles, strategies, and trends, including AI,
AR/VR, Blockchain, IoT, Cloud Computing.
 Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex
technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
 Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of
professionals.
 Familiarity with relevant emerging technology laws and regulations.
