- Plan, coordinate and deliver design of electrical tasks performed by internal/external resources to obtain the best quality, cost and deadline.
- Participate in the development of the company EPLAN templates and macros that can be delivered to the electrical design external providers during turnkey solutions (Design + Construction).
- Collaborate closely with Team Leaders of the other departments and Project Management, to align project objectives.
- Make the material purchase requisitions.
- Deliver the electrical diagrams on time to the purchase department and purchase the necessary material needed for the installation phase.
- Deliver proactive support to the purchase department during the cabinet construction quotation process and during the development of new electrical suppliers.
- Collaborate proactively with Sales & Marketing department preparing quotes or customer visits where s/he can add value, knowledge or better understand of customer needs.
- Participate in concept meetings during the concept design phase.
- Know and apply safety specifications. Actively contribute to design and safety reviews from a technical point of view.
- Transfer the concept documentation to the external electrical design suppliers and guide them with the execution of the electrical Schemas or Implement electrical diagrams as well when necessary.
- Ensure Machine Manuals and technical reports are developed accurately.
- Monitor the status of the electrical installations during the Debug phase to update the diagrams correctly in the event that modifications are made.
- Collaborate proactively to integrate innovative technological solutions and deliver added value to our customers.
- Assess the potential impact of emerging technologies; propose innovative technology solutions and take the lead in implementing and evaluating these solutions.
- Create positive impact to all stakeholders (customers, suppliers, partners, internal organization, etc.) by sharing QG customer’s strong brand values, essence, philosophy, heritage, way of doing, purpose, value proposition, etc.
- Control and coordinate the resources and vendors involved in the electrical design.
- Implement the necessary Company’ standards and templates on the electrical design side inside a project.
- Guide the external resources and validate their work ensuring the quality of the implemented electrical diagrams with a focus to the non-quality costs reduction.
- Solid electrical knowledge in complex technical drive systems and in electrical cabinets design
- Green Belt 6Sigma Certification / Experience
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of Spanish, Catalan, Polish, Chinese or German will be positively valued
- Mechatronics skills
