We're seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to join our leadership team and spearhead our ambitious growth plans. In this key leadership position , you'll leverage your extensive B2B sales experience and leadership expertise to build a thriving sales channel, a high-performing team, and sustainable business development strategies. As a Business Development Director, you'll: Understand Geekery's vision and mission. Craft a comprehensive sales strategy, build a dynamic business development team from the ground up, and establish operational frameworks and pricing structures to propel our growth. Develop SOPs for our Business Development Partners/Executives, set clear performance goals, and implement effective performance tracking systems. Provide ongoing mentorship and coaching to nurture their individual and collective success. Conduct in-depth market research to identify new opportunities and emerging markets for our services. Stay ahead of industry trends and explore uncharted territories to expand our reach and impact. Act as the business leader, overseeing all aspects of sales, marketing, and client acquisition. Lead with a focus on maximizing profitability and scaling our operations for sustainable national growth. Forge strategic partnerships that enhance our service offerings and expand our reach into new markets. Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with industry leaders to drive collective success. Take ownership of this business unit's Profit and Loss (P&L) statement. Implement strategies to optimize profitability and ensure financial sustainability as we scale. Build and lead a high-performing team of B2B sales professionals who share our passion for innovation and excellence. Provide ongoing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure individual and team success. Here's what you'll bring to the table: At least 8 to 10 years of demonstrably successful leadership experience in building a business and achieving sustainable growth within the agency environment. A keen ability to think strategically, analyze market trends, and formulate impactful business development plans. Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of building and leading successful, high-performing teams. A solid understanding of financial management, business development strategies, and P&L responsibility. The ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, readily adapting to changing market conditions and industry trends. Compensation: We offer a competitive compensation package that reflects your experience and contributions to our success. During the first 3 months (probation period), you'll receive a flat commission on revenue generated. Upon successful completion of probation and full-time onboarding, a new profit percentage deal will be offered, along with sweat equity.
