Job RequirementsJob DescriptionJob Title – Head - DC, DR & Data StoragePlace of work - MumbaiBusiness Unit – Corporate FunctionFunction – Information TechnologyJob Purpose:The role bearer has the responsibility to coordinate with IT, enhancement and business teams and develop strategies to ensure achievement of data center capacity as well as collaborate with various departments and perform integration of critical systems into IT infrastructure.The role bearer is expected to be implementing, monitoring and reporting on the enterprise IT Disaster Recovery Management (IT DRM) program that support the business plans and IT strategies of the bank.Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare plans for development and installation of data center according to present and future requirements
  • 'Monitor all software and hardware products and ensure compliance to Data Center standards and systems
  • Administer installation and maintenance of organization data center
  • Monitor all activities related to analysis and implement all data center plans
  • Develop action plans to address areas needing improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues in IT Resiliency Assurance to ensure that DR is appropriately integrated with resiliency plans
  • 'Perform end-user satisfaction surveys (transactional and periodic)
  • Identify and initiate strategic coaching opportunities boosting team performance and efficiency
  • Capture and share best- practice knowledge amongst the team
  • Create an environment that promotes collaborative learning and collective ownership of responsibilities
  • Recommend improvements to processes and policies across the Banking business to drive operational efficiencies and high quality customer service
  • Leverage in-house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Stay abreast with global market trends and competitor strategies in key markets
  • Monitor key parameters on productivity, hiring quality and attrition rates and make necessary improvements
  • Champion IDFC First's customer first culture by driving the team to take up high degree servicing norms to ensure absolute customer delight
  • Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in their reporting structure
Educational Qualifications:Graduate – AnyExperience:Minimum of 8+ Years
