We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Security Engineer with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Fortinet security solutions, including FortiGate Firewalls, Forti Analyzer, and Forti Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of BAU (Business As Usual) operations, and a commitment to working in a 24x4 rotational shift environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, implement, and maintain Fortinet Firewalls (FortiGate), FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager systems.
- Manage day-to-day BAU security operations including incident response, change management, and policy updates.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity using Fortinet and other monitoring tools.
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure network security posture is maintained.
- Perform regular system upgrades, backups, and patch management.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving network and firewall-related issues promptly.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and network diagrams.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during assigned 24x4 shifts.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in network security and firewall management.
- Proven expertise in Fortinet technologies, especially FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, VPNs, IPS/IDS, NAT, and routing.
- Prior experience in BAU operations within a secure and complex network environment.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Willingness to work in a 24x4 rotational shift.
