The Product Manager will partner with other product managers to build out internal platforms that enable and empower marketers to control every step of the enterprise campaign workflow, from ideation and intake, all the way to scheduling and performance analytics. S/he will be responsible for owning and driving the roadmap for an internally built solution that will span multiple stakeholders, internal users, and different phases of the end-to-end campaign process. The right candidate will be able to handle delivery and implementation while also able to meet with stakeholders on strategy alignment and identifying business pain points, and be able to confer with ecosystem architects to align on platform-to-platform integrations where needed. This position requires prior experience or familiarity in building internal marketing platforms (or other internal applications), marketing communications (email, push, text), and content management for campaigns.The position will bebased in our Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bengaluru, India, and will be expected to interface with business stakeholders and leads based in the United States(Seattle WA, Pleasanton CA, Denver CO, Plano TX, Boise ID).Main responsibilities:
Define product strategy for the discovery and planning product area by partnering with respective PMs and key business and operational partners, to define the landscape of enterprise campaign production for marketing at an enterprise scale.
Own the product lifecycle, from discovery, definition, execution to launch & iteration for their products.
Define detailed use cases, product requirements, and technical specs needed to support roadmap initiatives.
Work closely with engineering partners to implement new features, deliver enhancements, and address gaps or breakages in our marketing platform.
Participate and lead an agile development process, working closely with internal Tech teams and multiple onshore and offshore engineering teams.
Maintain standards for a data-driven approach to making decisions and gain user insight using internal metrics, user interviews, user research, surveys, and larger organizational KPI goals.
Define success criteria and KPIs to justify continued investment and prioritization of features.
Partner with cross-functional team members to gain insight into increasing marketer productivity, efficiency & effectiveness, and scaling campaign volumes to ultimately increase revenue and ROI.
Drive the creation of onboarding and instructional documentation for this internal platform.
Educate and work with other product managers and business leads & stakeholders to onboard users onto the platform, increase adoption, and troubleshoot issues.
What we are searching for:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing and/or Marketing tech
3+ years in Marketing/Advertising area with experience including but not limited to content management, audience management, personalization, internal platform/application development, analytics, and automated marketing technologies
Experience in consulting and/or setting platform product direction to meet customer needs
Strategic and analytical skills with the ability to translate between strategic business decisions and their quantitative implication
Internet, Ecom, retail experience preferred
Strong analytical, prioritization and negotiating skills
Usability and customer-focused design experience a plus
Passionate about building great products and user-interfaces; and solving customer and business problems
