The increasing income diversification, evolution of the tech stack, various government schemes to improve livelihoods, and integrating the country via roads and the internet have provided strong tailwinds to the rural and semi urban (RUSU) or ‘Bharat’ markets.To better capitalize on the growth runway and “open the world of possibilities” for the Bharat customer, the bank has set up a separate ‘Bharat Bank’ vertical. It is an amalgamation of products and geography, handling certain core products across the country and all the products in the RUSU branches.The objective is to accelerate the growth journey by expanding distribution reach via branches, partnerships, and digital presence, creating tailored products and processes, and using the One Axis strategy to harness synergies in all parts of the Bank to deliver to the Bharat customer.The Bank also continues to focus on growing the book profitably by enhancing productivity, improving operational efficiency to reduce cost, and containing risk by leveraging technology such as AI and ML & rigorous portfolio monitoring.About the Role
- You will be part of Co-lending team under Bharat Banking Vertical.
- You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change quickly, dealing with multiple stakeholders, tackling unfamiliar tasks and requests with resourcefulness and minimal guidance
- Managing the co-lending process and operations which are focused for Retail assets and Bhart banking products respectively
- Process Management: Managing the partner onboarding, integration, collections, disbursement, documents custody and reconciliation processes along with Operations team and relevant stakeholders.
- Operations & Controls Management: Creating controls & governance guardrails in the process to ensure smooth operations of the business. This includes ensuring all data flow in the systems are correct and checks are incorporated in place.
- Audit checks – Ensuring internal reviews are done for all process and controls for being audit ready.
- Stakeholder Management (Internal): Work internally with stakeholders (Risk & policy, Underwriting, Ops, IT, legal, Finance, Credit, BSG, Project, Compliance) to ensure that proposition delivers the necessary output results.
- Stakeholder Management (External): Manage partner operations teams and Custodians to ensure process and compliance delivery.
- Managing the portfolio compliances (regulatory, policy and PSL) and audit checks at agreed frequency for best scores
- Management of day-to-day operations flow with the partners
- Interface with the internal and external stakeholders for opportunity identification and plan implementation under co-lending business model
- Analyzing the competition and the new trends emerging in co-lending space and publish updates at an agreed frequency
Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
- MBA / Post Graduate/ CA from a reputed institute
- 3-7 years of exposure on Asset products of banking and or any underwriting experience
For successful execution of the job, a candidate should possess the following:

Ability to interact with the senior stakeholders and assert a point of view effectively
Understanding of the value drivers of the business
Basic financial and accounting knowledge
Prior experience in Portfolio and Process management
Fintech and data mining experience will be an added plus
