As we continue to grow rapidly, we are seeking a seasoned HR professional to join our team as a Manager/Senior Manager - HR Operations and Payroll. Role Overview As the Manager/Senior Manager - HR Operations and Payroll, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our HR processes and payroll functions. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations, compliance with statutory regulations, and delivering exceptional payroll services. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to drive HR excellence within the organization. Key Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including but not limited to employee onboarding, off boarding, attendance management, leave administration, and employee data management. Develop, implement, and streamline HR policies, processes, and systems to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience. Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and company policies related to HR operations and payroll. Manage and execute payroll processing accurately and on time, including salary calculations, deductions, reimbursements, and statutory compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address employee queries, resolve issues, and provide timely support on HR-related matters. Lead and mentor the HR operations team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and collaboration. Analyze HR and payroll data to generate insights, trends, and metrics for informed decision-making and process improvements. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in HR operations and payroll management. Qualifications And Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or professional certification in HR is a plus. Minimum 7 years of experience in HR operations and payroll management, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment. Proven track record of leading HR operations and payroll functions effectively, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Sound knowledge of labor laws, payroll regulations, and compliance requirements in India. Proficiency in HRIS, payroll software, and MS Office suite. Experience with HRMS implementation is desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, coaching, and conflict resolution.
