Job Description: - The DVA resource is responsible for Dimensional Variation Analys is, GD&T and Tolerance stack up for ongoing and new projects. Job Responsibilities: - Manage a team of engineers to create and maintain DVA simulation models representing the assembly process, tolerances, and CAD data used for the virtual assembly of a vehicle. As well as supporting all dimensional engineering requirements from customers. He will be responsible for creating & reviewing reports, communicating results, issues, and recommendations to the customer. Educational Qualification :- B.E. / B. Tech (Mechanical / Production / Automotive / Design) Experience:- Min 3 to Max 10 Relevant Experience relevant in DVA domain. Technical Skills:- . Experience in Chassis & Body Components/Interior Trim/Exterior Trim domain. . Good working knowledge of 2D & 3D Tolerance Stack up Analysis. . Good knowledge & understanding of GD&T Standard (preferred ASME . Hand on Experience in any of the variation analysis software . Knowledge of Fixture / Tool Design, Facility and Assembly Process preferred. . Development Support for Primary Locating Points (PLP), GD&T, Craftmanship & CTQ assessments as well active involvement toward meeting the dimensional targets and functional objectives. . Provide technical support to cross functional teams-Support Optical Quality and Perceived Quality development. Tool Skills :- Catia V5, NX, Teamcenter-VisVSA / 3DCS Special Requirements :- . Must have led the team of engineers for generation and development of the Dimensional Variation Analysis (DVA) simulation model-Working knowledge of GD&T & Tolerance Stack up Analysis . Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector-Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements. . PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc . Soft Skills:- Excellent communications skills, ability to communicate at all levels
