Visit us at UST.com.The Opportunity:UST is looking for 02 SMD Soldering & Laptop Rework TechnicianKey Roles & Responsibilities:The candidate will be responsible for SMD soldering/rework at PCB level as well as opening, repairing, and reassembling laptops.The role requires strong technical skills, precision, and adherence to IPC standards.

Perform manual soldering, desoldering, and rework of SMD, blue wire and through-hole components.

Handle fine-pitch components (QFN, 0402/0201/01005) under a microscope.

Use rework tools such as hot air stations, soldering irons, and microscopes.

Inspect solder joints and repair common defects (bridges, cold solder joints, opens, misalignments, tombstoning, etc.).

Open and disassemble laptops using appropriate tools and ESD precautions.

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues (RAM, HDD/SSD, connectors, motherboard, display, etc.).

Replace faulty laptop parts (keyboard, battery, fan, display, etc.) and reassemble to factory standard.

Maintain service and rework records.

Follow ESD-safe practices and IPC-A-610/IPC-7711/21 standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Hands-on experience in SMD soldering and fine-pitch rework.

Skilled in laptop opening, repair, and reassembly.

Familiarity with IPC standards and ESD practices.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Ability to read circuit diagrams, design files and service manuals.

Qualification:

BTech in Computer Science or relevant field

3-5+ Years of experience….
