Job Description:We are seeking a QA Lead with strong experience in manual testing and Python Playwright automation. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end QA strategy, drive automation initiatives, and ensure high-quality releases across software delivery cycles. This role requires expertise in multiple testing types, Agile QA processes, and hands-on experience with automation frameworks, API testing, and GenAI-driven QA practices. The candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders while mentoring team members and driving QA innovation.Key Responsibilities

Own preparation and documentation of test artifacts including Test Plans, Test Strategy, Test Cases, and sign-off reports

Design and drive comprehensive testing strategies for features, enhancements, and bug fixes

Lead execution of manual testing phases including functional, regression, exploratory, API, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing

Ensure thorough test coverage for positive, negative, and edge case scenarios

Oversee test execution, defect logging, and tracking to closure using Jira, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar tools

Work with GitHub and CI/CD tools for quality validation within release cycles

Champion Agile QA processes and participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily Scrum

Drive quality initiatives across scrum teams and collaborate with developers, BAs, and stakeholders

Mentor junior QA team members and promote QA best practices

Identify manual processes suitable for automation and increase automation coverage

Lead automation strategy using Python Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks

Advocate and enable adoption of GenAI tools for QA automation and productivity

Collaborate to evolve automation and AI/ML practices within QA function

Contribute to non-functional testing initiatives including performance, security, and accessibility

Identify, communicate, and mitigate QA risks and quality gaps

Coordinate with cross-functional teams for acceptance criteria and defect triage

Present test results, risks, and quality metrics to product and engineering leadership

Key Skills & Qualifications

6-9 years professional experience in software testing/QA with strong manual testing expertise

Exposure to manufacturing domain testing processes

Hands-on experience with Jira, GitHub, Azure DevOps (ADO), or similar tools

Strong experience in creating and maintaining test artifacts

Good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodology, and QA processes

Experience in functional, regression, exploratory, API, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing

Hands-on experience in automation frameworks using Python Playwright or Selenium

Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks

Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or REST-assured

Experience working with CI/CD tools and GitHub

Awareness of GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, or similar for QA automation

Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
