About the role... Our SDET team members actively participate and contribute for a full product life cycle process in an agile environment. And work in a fast paced, multi team and multi project environment What you'll do for us Design test cases from stories/requirements that covers all the basic, alternate and exception scenarios to deliver high quality product Identify test gaps and opportunities to expand test case coverage utilizing prior Quality and Testing experience Responsible for Functional testing of web applications and applications integrated with Hadoop/Big data framework Responsible for the performance testing of web applications and applications integrated with Hadoop/Big data framework Responsible for automating the functional and performance tests What you'll have Experience : 5- 8 years of testing experience preferably with a product company Must also have experience in Software testing in the areas of Web-based, Client-Server applications using Manual and Automation testing techniques. Coding skills using python or Java is required. API concepts and Automation experience is required Good experience with Continuous Integration Tools like Jenkins. Having knowledge of streaming data concepts Able to execute commands on Unix systems/servers Extensively worked on various Testing types such as Integration, System, Functional, Regression, Sanity, Smoke, User-interface (GUI), Performance Testing, API Testing, Mobile Testing. The mindset to break things Education :B.E in computer science as preferable education background Skills : Candidate should be strong in scripting and implementing automation test frameworks as per the business needs for a product. Extensively used automated test tools like Selenium/QTP/Telerik test studio for Functional and Regression Testing and developing frameworks. Should be able to comfortably code in at least 1 language Python(Preferred)/Java Expertise in writing Test strategy, Test Plan Preparation and Implementation, Test Case Design, Test Tool usage, Test execution, Defect Management and Defect Tracking. Carried out Automation Tests with UNIX, Shell scripts, SQL scripts, etc. Execution of automated test scripts, JMeter based on business/functional specifications. Strong knowledge in web services testing via Tool SOAP UI/ Restful web services. Strong knowledge on No-SQL database like Mongo DB. Strong in writing SQL queries to perform backend data validations.
