You will be working as Quality Specialist at global grade 14 and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Manufacturing Unit Manager and will be responsible for assuring the local ABB unit has the necessary capabilities to control that products and systems meet the internal, customer and industry requirements, in a cost effective and safe working environment. Developing, implementing standards and testing methods to ensure only conform products, software and services are released to the customer. Your responsibilities Leading the design, planning and execution of tests, controls, verifications, validations, that are directly related to products, systems or software production or delivery processes Coordinating a proper interface between quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing, validation and engineering as applicable Ensuring relevant deployment of metrics and tools related to quality control in incoming, production, factory or software test labs and final inspection quality as applicable Ensuring the local organization has the necessary hardware and software capabilities to assure products and systems meet specified requirements and customer expectations, including production measurement or laboratory equipment Organizing and allocating testing resources to meet customer delivery commitments and testing requirements effectively and efficiently Ensuring data is reported and interpreted according to the internal ABB specifications, customer norms, applicable national or global standards and always under a high level of integrity Your background B.E or B.
