Job Description: Junior & Senior AccountantLocation: Ramnagar, Uttarakhand
Salary:

Junior Accountant: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Senior Accountant: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Role SummaryA reputed organization based in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand is looking for Junior and Senior Accountants for its Head Office, which manages operations for two schools and a resort. The ideal candidates should have strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to handle financial operations efficiently.The Junior Accountant will focus on day-to-day accounting tasks, while the Senior Accountant will oversee financial management, compliance, and reporting functions.Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions

Handle accounts payable and receivable

Maintain vouchers, invoices, and financial documentation

Prepare financial statements and reports

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Assist in budgeting and financial planning

Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts

Coordinate with internal departments for financial matters

Ensure accurate data entry and record maintenance

Support audits and financial reviews

Junior Accountant – Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance

Knowledge of Tally and GST (Mandatory)

1–3 years of accounting experience preferred

Good understanding of basic accounting principles

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Senior Accountant – Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting

Strong accounting knowledge equivalent to CA-level practical exposure preferred

4–7 years of relevant accounting experience preferred

Strong knowledge of GST, taxation, financial reporting, and compliance

Experience in handling multi-unit accounting preferred (schools / hospitality / corporate)

Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and financial reporting tools

Experience in audit coordination and financial planning preferred

Ability to handle multiple responsibilities

Good communication and coordination skills

High level of integrity and confidentiality

Experience handling accounts for multiple business units preferred
