JobType: full-timeRequirements:We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Finance & Accounting professional to manage end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, taxation norms, and banking procedures, along with the ability to maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.This role is critical in ensuring the company's financial integrity, timely reporting, and smooth management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide detailed financial reports to management for business planning and performance monitoring.
- Process supplier invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payment to vendors.
- Maintain proper documentation for all payable transactions.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Raise and track invoices to clients, follow up on outstanding payments, and ensure timely collections.
- Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and credit notes.
- Work closely with the sales team to address payment delays or disputes.
- Maintain daily bank ledger entries and monitor all incoming and outgoing transactions.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between bank statements and company records.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, and other tax obligations.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Keep updated with changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other tax-related submissions on time.
- Assist in corporate tax computations and liaise with tax consultants for assessments.
- Maintain proper documentation to support tax filings and audits.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in finance operations.
- Adopt best practices for financial controls and documentation.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in finance and accounting, preferably in a corporate environment.
