The team supports multiple Banker Teller implementations that enable high‑volume, real‑time teller transactions across branch banking environments for FIS clients.The Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions for the Banker Teller module, ensuring high quality, reliability, and performance of teller workflows. The role involves close collaboration with development, business, and production support teams to validate enhancements, fixes, and regulatory changes in a mission‑critical banking environment.What you will be doing:Lead the planning, design, and execution of comprehensive quality assurance strategies and testing processes specifically tailored for web applicationsDevelop test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for functional, non-functional, and the digital banker teller apps, ensuring thorough coverage of requirements and user scenarios.Design, implement, and maintain automated mobile testing frameworks and scripts using tools such as Appium, Playwright, Espresso, or similar, to streamline regression testing and ensure test repeatability.Design, implement, and maintain automated web test frameworks using frameworks such as PlaywrightIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps, and collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure automated testing is part of the development workflow.Identify, prioritize, and track defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution and validation of fixes.What you bring:Overall 4-6 years, proficient in creating test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web applications.Experience in Automation Testing, Regression testing, usability testing, performance testing, and security testing of web apps.Strong hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for web apps using relevant tools and frameworks.Experience of scripting languages such as Java or JavaScript for automation tasks and test script development.Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and working collaboratively with DevOps teams.Ability to analyze logs, debug issues, and troubleshoot mobile app performance, compatibility, and functionality issues.Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices, including agile testing methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation, defect tracking, and reporting using tools like Jira, Zephyr, Report Portal, TestRail, or Allure.Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, designers, and QA teams.Preferably from the Digital Banking Domain.What we offer you:An exciting opportunity be a part of World’s Leading FinTech Product MNCTo be a part of vibrant team and to build up a career on core banking/payments domainA multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunitiesA broad range of professional education and personal development possibilities – FIS is your final career step!Privacy StatementFIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
