about the role

To help in automation of tasks in python and integrate it in the CICD
To contribute in the POC around container technology
To help the team in building knowledge by delivering sessions on latest technologies
To build usecases around kubernetes open source tools
Actively take part and help overlook the design, implementation, and deployment of CICD pipelines

about you

Engineer should be well versed in Python or Golang , Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker
Experience in CI/CD tools like Ansible,git, gitlab, gitlab pipelines.
Engineer should have good understanding of cloud infrastructures and NFVI Preferably.
Detailed understanding of securing the end to end image/container lifecycle from image build to production deployment and implementing container security in CI/CD
Understanding of Kubernetes and Docker security
Understanding of automated security testing approaches and tools.
Understanding and turning feedback from security analysis tools into infrastructure improvements
Creating secure container images
Implementing Container Network security
Automation of infra testcases testing

B.E./B.Tech., MCA, M.Sc. or M.Tech. (Computer Science/IT) or equivalent

Relevant Experience

3 to 4 years of experience in Python Automation, Hands on experience in Kubernetes, Docker, Databases

Technical skills/knowledge

Experience in Python automation framework development/infrastructure automation
Hands on experience with Docker & Kubernetes
Experience in CI/CD tools like ansible, Jenkins, git, gitlab pipelines and docker
Good understanding of Openstack based cloud infrastructures
Ability to automate test and deployment process of cloud based infra service in Python
Experience in Automation framework development and creating custom libraries for specific tasks
Identify improvements, develop infrastructure services and automate manual work
Experience in agile way of working and tools like Taiga, Jira etc
Advanced knowledge in Linux system (OS + network) and associated scripting languages.
Hands-on experience on Opensource Container tools
Experience in implementing governance processes for Container Security
Experience in utilizing containers in multiple platforms including multiple Cloud based orchestration platforms
Experience in developing secure baseline for container images using industry standards like CIS
Experience in multiple Cloud environments - AWS, Openstack
Experience on integrating open source container tools
NFV knowledge is desirable

As a plus/ Good To Have:

Working Knowledge of NFV MANO, Openstack and CaaS
Deploying Kubernetes cluster in HA
Open-source contributions in LFN |CNCF projects
