- Is responsible for the satisfaction of a defined portfolio of existing customers allocated to him/her and for a lasting business relationship and for establishing customer profiles and customer needs.
- Is responsible for qualified presentation of the entire range of standardized products, establishment and presentation of customized offers, their negotiation and contract.
- Prepares his/her individual sales plans according to his/her target budgets and manage the assigned territory or set of customers.
- Prepares and realizes his/her sales calls according to his/her individual Sales plan and reports to the Sales Manager as per the prescribed sales process.
- Is responsible for mutual information flow about his/her customers between all parties involved and submit proper, accurate, timely and complete sales and customer orders.
- Oversee proper implementation and “hand-off” of client from sales to operations.
- Effectively respond to Request for Quotes/Proposals (RFQ/P).
- Represents the interests of DGF IN, promotes the image and informs superiors and all parties involved regarding observations in the market, including competitor’s behaviors.
- Is responsible for his/her own product in respect of target (budget) achievement.
- Secures/Collects all necessary information to assess the credit worthiness, adheres to and observes the approved credit limits granted to customers and enforces the previously agreed payment terms.
- Any other jobs when assigned.
- Strategizes with the Sales manager for achievement of the sub-group targets.
- Responsible for monitoring the activities and reporting on the performance of the market and competition to the Sales Manager. Ensure appropriate level of industry and competitive knowledge.
- Report visit in DHLI within timeline.
- Maintain DHLI Data Integrity.
- Also responsible for sales target and reports to the Sales Manager.
- Demonstrated history of proven quota success.
- Minimum of 3-5 years prospecting, developing and closing opportunities for new named business.
- Sales background in selling AFR/OFR/CDZ/ Supply Chain solutions in the Freight Forwarding or logistics industry
- History of successful territory management.
- Experience with remote management & company support.
- Ability to communicate industry, product & operational information to non-FF audience.
- Proven ability to effectively sell to manager and “C-Level” decision makers.
- Experience with operations in Air and ocean.
- Good organization skills.
- Team player attitude and efforts.
- Proficient with administrative software (e.g. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
