Job Description:Brief Description: Industrial Means Quality Manager with full responsibility for tooling, machine and automatism quality issues for the C295 India Industrial Means.Key Deliverables:The jobholder assures quality standards in of Jigs & Tools and Machines & Automation at Airbus D&S during the end to end process to protect our internal and external customers.The jobholder assures the output for the complete acceptance process of industrial Means inspection (On-Time/On-Cost/On-Quality).She or he will supervise and coordinate the subcontractor’s activity following local export control-/ and Ethics & Compliance Rules.The jobholder is the main actor and accountable for the Non-Conformity process for industrial means to protect the external and internal customer. She/he is accountable for the right configuration of the Aircraft and Main Component Assemblies tooling assuring interchangeability and customer requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesShe/he will be the Industrial Means Quality Manager with full responsibility for tooling, machine and automatism quality issues for the India industrial Means project.She/he leads the Non-Conformity (NC) process for industrial means, analyze and coordinate the incidents. Therefore he needs a deep knowledge in laser tracker and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) measurement processes. She/he has to be capable of executing technical analysis of tooling drawings and measurement reports.She/he establishes and approves the periodical inspection plans for the jigs and tools for the interchangeability of our complete production process and components.She/he will manage the industrial means acceptance process according to CASA 1041 and Technical Standard (TS) for Industrial Means for the C295 India project.Ensure the quality of Jigs & Tools and Machines & Automation at Airbus D&S.The jobholder is in charge of the related management of subcontracted activities. She/he coordinates the Quality activities with the Industrial Means Engineering department of Airbus D&S organized in three Technological Areas (Test Means Engineering; Tooling Engineering, Machines & Automation Engineering).She/he is accountable for the control of the configuration of the tooling and the related interchangeability of Aircraft parts and components.The jobholder has to ensure the quality of Jigs & Tools and Machines & Automation at Airbus D&S during the end to end process, starting at the development (if applicable) until the end of the life cycle, according to the company procedures and the particular technical requirements.The jobholder coordinates an external team on Industrial Means activities for the project.Integrated in the development process for industrial means and the production sustaining process. Main Stakeholders are Industrial Means Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Extended Enterprise, Metrology, Manufacturing Engineering Quality and Supply Chain Quality.
