- Understands & reviews the business requirements and defines scope clearly.

- Ensures quality through reviewing critical technical items developed by SW team.
- Provides consultation/guidance on complex coding and solution deployment.
- Provides consultation on development of test strategy.
- Analyzes critical defects and defect trends and provides Corrective & Preventive solutions.
- Technical thought leadership
- Leads technical discussions with internal and external customers.
- Upgrades domain capability inline with market needs & trends to meet technology competitiveness.
- Publishes technical papers in conference / publications.
- Conducts SW Architecture workshops and executes roadmaps.
- Knowledge management and process improvement
- Defines criteria and evaluation matrix for products / technologies adaptation.
- Evaluates and recommends the selection of software/hardware and integration methods.
- Mentoring and providing technical training
- Makes continuous effort to simplify and streamline the development process.

- Shall learn the Visteon process and practice it in the first assigned project.
- Shall demonstrate the Work products created according to Visteon process.
- Shall demonstrate the proficiency in the tools used in Visteon for SW Architecture.
- Shall demonstrate the compliance to ASPICE L2 SWE.2
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in software product life cycle and embedded software development using C or C++ language
- 4+ years of experience in delivering Scalable Software Architectures Modelling
- 3+ years of experience in AUTOSAR based software development
- Experience with the UML, SysML, IBM Rational Rhapsody for embedded software development
- Experience in developing Distributed systems architectures
- Experience in developing Multithreaded applications
- Experience in developing Software DFMEAs
- Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, LIN, FLexray Automotive Ethernet is a plus
- Experience developing embedded real-time safety critical software systems using processes is also desirable
- High level of expertise in Instrument cluster and TFT Displays domains
