Job Title: Enterprise ESRI ArcGIS Administrator Location : Remote, Pacific Standard Time ( 9:30 pm - 5:30 am IST) Schedule : Full-time, 8 hours Budget : Upto $35/hr Experience : 5-7 years minimum experience with ESRI technologies About the Role : Seeking an ArcGIS Enterprise Administrator with experience in ArcGIS for Portal. The successful candidate will maintain and upgrade enterprise GIS software, services, and web applications for the organization and keep the infrastructure updated, scaled according to capacity needs and performing optimally. The position requires working with IT and GIS system users to solve complex, advanced issues. You will collaborate closely with the Solutions Architect as a subject matter expert (SME) to make architectural decisions, ensuring the efficient functioning of our GIS infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of ESRI ArcGIS deployment architecture, as well as hands-on experience with ESRI ArcGIS Server 10x, ArcPro, ArcGIS Online, and SDE databases. Responsibilities and Duties Specifics of the position are as follows: Operationally support and maintain the Esri ArcGIS Enterprise environments including Esri Portal, Datastore, and ArcGIS Server. Support the currently deployed Esri product suite and all future releases of the Esri product lines. Upgrade the ArcGIS Enterprise systems to applicable or latest versions. Complete ArcGIS software patching for systems on a manual and automated cycle. Support the organization with any needs regarding ArcGIS software requirements and troubleshoot GIS software issues to ensure full functionality. Publish and maintain web map services using ESRI ArcGIS technologies Assist in making architectural decisions in collaboration with the Application Architect and Senior Software Engineers. Support production applications by troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions Ensure the integrity and security of GIS data stored in PostgreSQL and Oracle databases Document and manage all application user guides, work processes, server configurations, enterprise architecture settings, and GIS database connections/accounts. Assist in developing system processes, standards, and documentation for the GIS department. Ability to code in SQL and Python Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree minimum 5-7 years experience with a major emphasis in GIS, Computer Science/Engineering, Cartography, Geography. Minimum of 2 years of experience with geospatial data, analysis, maps, services, and applications. Experience with documenting complex and technical processes. Should have excellent communication skills to work with a global team
