- Ensure proper respect of the Company procedures for product evolution and product modifications in strong link with R&D department in France and Industrial pool
- Handle R&D projects:
- Ensure targets of the projects are defined and understand by everyone
- Ensure targets will be achieved
- Ensure the action plan is achieved in time
- Ensure good following-recording of time and cost of each project
- Projects can be: new products, products evolution, benchmarking , etc.
- Realize prototype of new products or evolution of product with the support of Industrial Pool and RET
- Handle qualification of materials experimentation on the shop floor
- Propose and build the specifications for testing equipement
- Give technical support to sales/purchase department when it is required
- Technical specifications; meeting with (potential) customers/suppliers; validation of samples/products.
- Performing field tests for new product or product evolution by visit of installation with this product on regular basis to and prepare complete field tests reports accordingly.
- Performing visit of competitors installation on regular basis to and prepare complete competition reports accordingly.
- Perform suppliers visits and attend suppliers meetings for products requiring technical expertise on request of Sales, Quality and/or Purchase department.
- Organize communication around major competition development.
- Solidworks: conception of product and prototype, give support to Industrial Pool in CAD needs
- Realize Bill of Materials with the PRU on SAP
- Reporting R&D actvities to his hierachical and functional responsibles.
- Critical thinking, Rigorousness and strong organization skills
- Ability to solve problems, to developp creativity and alternative thinking
- Ability to work in a cross functional team spirit with other departments and units
- Ability to integrate cultural differences (cross function)
- Excellent organizer with leadership, decision making, human relations, able to manage his own time, follow planning and organize priorities
- Good relational, communication skills and ability to develop cross functional team motivation
- Able to analyze, organize information and present clear summary.
- If possible specialized in refrigerated products manufacturing industry
- Fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati
- Experience in project management.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, SAP
- Good knowledge of Solid works
- Rigorousness and accuracy in work
- Senior engineer skill Level or 6-7 years of relevant experience.
