- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders across regions.
- 3-6 years of operational experience in Lease Accounting, General Ledger, and Controllership functions.
- Strong technical expertise in accounting principles, with deep understanding of lease accounting standards (IFRS 16) and general ledger processes.
- Ability to manage end-to-end GL processes including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and reporting.
- Skilled at managing multiple activities and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated success in identifying and addressing client needs
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicating clearly and professionally with clients and auditors.
- Delivering organized requests for information and resolving conflicts proactively.
- Proven ability to manage relationships across onsite and offshore teams, fostering collaboration and cultural alignment.

- Coaching and mentoring staff with timely, constructive feedback.
- Strong knowledge of lease accounting systems, ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle), and MS Office tools.
- Analytical ability to identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend process improvements.
- Understanding of critical parameters in lease accounting (ROU assets, lease liabilities, interest expense, amortization) and GL processes.
- Ability to challenge established process guidelines to drive efficiency and compliance.
- Commitment and drive for results with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments.
