Job Description:As a seasoned Oracle Apps DBA, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle E-Business Suite environments. You will play a key role in ensuring high availability, performance, and security of Oracle databases and applications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business-critical operations.Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Configuration:

Install, configure, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.x) and Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c).
Set up and manage multi-node RAC environments and ASM storage.
Maintenance & Support:

Perform patching (ADOP, CPU/PSU), cloning, backup, and recovery using RMAN.
Monitor and troubleshoot application and database issues including Concurrent Managers, Workflow, and Forms/Reports.
Performance & Optimization:

Conduct performance tuning of databases and applications.
Implement purging, archiving, and cloning strategies.
High Availability & Disaster Recovery:

Configure and manage Oracle Data Guard for standby setups and failover operations.
Ensure 24x7 uptime and participate in on-call support and weekend maintenance.
Automation & Scripting:

Develop and maintain Shell, Perl, SQL, and PL/SQL scripts for monitoring and reporting.
Automate routine DBA tasks and alerts.
Security & Compliance:

Enforce database security policies and access controls.
Ensure compliance with data governance and audit standards.
Documentation & Collaboration:

Maintain DBA runbooks, cloning procedures, and upgrade documentation.
Collaborate with developers, system admins, and business analysts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Oracle EBS R12 architecture, AD utilities (adpatch, adadmin, etc.)
Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, OEM
Linux/Unix environments and scripting
SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning
Certifications:

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent preferred
Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities
Ability to mentor junior DBAs and work in agile environments

Preferred Experience:

Experience with cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure. etc.)
Exposure to OBIEE, APEX and Oracle Fusion Middleware
