About Company:Our customer is a top producer of compositions, varied chemicals, cellulose xanthate, and linen yarn in the world. It is based in India. The company has established a B2B online marketplace for building products in addition to venturing into the paint industry. It has now developed into a major, multifaceted player with a stronghold in numerous industries.An Ideal Candidate:An Ideal Candidate would be responsible for driving, managing and implementing Performance Management Systems and Job Analysis & Evaluation processes, practices, guidelines, and policies across business. Facilitating seamless, consistent and accurate two-way communication and implementation of multiple portfolios at the corporate level and multiple units/plants across India, Thailand, Germany, USA & China. Study of comparable positions in other businesses, and peer positions in the unit. Taking initiatives and driving interventions for improving and monitoring the quality of Goal Setting, Performance Improvement Plan, appropriateness of metrics, and standards of performance.Key Competencies:1. The high-priority issues are usually unique to each business and often have to be addressed simultaneously.
2. The Chemicals Business is based out of multiple countries. People from each of these countries follow their own culture, norms, and language and have different levels or understanding. The incumbent in this position needs sensitivity to deal with these differences.
3. Planning and conducting Job Analysis & Evaluation exercises for the Business as well as reviewing the current jobs periodically and preparing the JDs as and when required. Ensure that all jobs are properly evaluated and graded, and evaluation scores are updated on HRMS System.
4. Studying job descriptions and structures.
5. Assessment of recommended Job Band and defining Hay configurations for the same
6. Preparation of analysis formats for positions to be evaluated.
7. Review re-organization proposals and make recommendations based on job design changes.
8. Work with Business on performance analysis and interventions to build a high performance culture. Undertake Goal Audits with support from Unit HRs.
9. Facilitating implementation of uniform quality of processes across all units. Inputs to BCoE on business requirements and providing feedback on ongoing processes & policies.
