- Solicit budgetary and firm RFQs from customers and ensure timely submission of quotations.
- Identify new projects and continuously expand customer base.
- Conduct cold calls and field visits to generate new business opportunities.
- Deliver annual and quarterly sales targets for assigned territories.
- Prepare comprehensive techno-commercial proposals including:
- Product selection
- Costing & pricing
- Commercial terms
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments for timely and error-free quotation submissions.
- Maintain regular and meaningful customer visits (India & overseas).
- Conduct technical discussions and lead negotiations independently.
- Proactively track market trends and identify new growth opportunities.
- Take additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Minimum 12+ years in Industrial Sales.
- At least 6 years of:
- Cold calling
- Field sales
- Technical discussions
- Commercial negotiations
- Overseas direct sales experience (field visits & negotiation) Preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving assigned sales targets.
- Strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge.
- Experience in technical/solution selling.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Strong team collaboration and leadership ability.
- Strategic thinking and opportunity scanning capability.
- DISC Profiling / Thomas Profiling exposure Preferred.
- SAP
- MS Office
- CAD (Preferred but not mandatory)
