- Lead and manage the services procurement team, including Category Leads and Buyers.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for key service categories: construction, logistics, manpower, commissioning, and technical services.
- Drive China sourcing initiatives for construction-related services and materials to optimize cost and delivery.
- Ensure alignment of procurement activities with project schedules, budgets, and technical requirements.
- Oversee contract negotiations, finalization, and administration for high-value service contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global and regional service providers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and HSE standards.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve escalated issues to ensure service quality and continuity.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management on procurement performance and risks.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 12-15 years of experience in services procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within EPC or Oil & Gas/Power projects
- Proven experience in international sourcing, especially from China
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement analytics tools
- Execute purchase orders and service contracts in line with project requirements and timelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather service scopes, technical specifications, and delivery schedules.
- Support sourcing activities, including vendor communication, bid analysis, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with project and regulatory standards.
- Track service delivery, resolve issues, and support contract administration.
- Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving procurement efficiency.
- Liaise with international suppliers, including those in China, to support sourcing strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 5-8 years of experience in service procurement, preferably in EPC or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Exposure to China sourcing for construction services/materials is an advantage.
