We are searching for an experienced Senior Data Modeler to join our team and contribute to designing, maintaining, and evolving our organization's data architecture.This role will ensure best practices, standards, and strategies are implemented across our data models while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals.ResponsibilitiesEstablish, maintain, and evolve information architecture best practices, guidelines, and principles in alignment with the Client's Data Strategy teamDrive data modeling initiatives and support the architecture, design, and development of data systemsDevelop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models using established data modeling guidelinesEnsure data models align with relevant industry standards and adhere to best practicesCapture and maintain metadata within the enterprise data catalog solutionEvaluate data models in commercially available applications prior to procurementEducate and mentor team members and the broader data community on data strategy directives, principles, and standardsEnsure adherence to Security and Compliance policies within the scope of Enterprise Information ArchitectureCollaborate with business partners, IT teams, architecture teams, and contractors to design data models that meet requirementsDefine and promote compliance with best practices, conducting data design reviews throughout the development lifecycleRequirementsUniversity degree equivalent to BS/MS in Computer or Life Sciences5+ years of experience, including a focus on Business Analysis involving business process reengineering, user requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, and change managementPractical experience with Data Analytics, SQL, and DWBI toolsStrong expertise in Data Modeling, including the ability to create Erwin diagramsProficiency in communication, with excellent verbal and written English skillsNice to have2+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, preferably in the commercial IT functionBackground in Agile methodologies and team coordination effortsFamiliarity with Collibra
