This role requires 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar position.Qualifications and Skills
  • 4 to 6 years of experience as a Sous Chef Bakery or similar role.
  • Professional culinary degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in bakery operations.
  • Expertise in creating and modifying bakery recipes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Passion for bakery and a strong sense of creativity.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Oversee all bakery operations, including production, quality control, and staff supervision.
  • Create and develop new bakery recipes to enhance the menu offering.
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper storage of bakery ingredients.
  • Manage the kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Train and mentor junior bakery staff, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as the cafe and food production teams, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and implement innovative practices in the bakery.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality bakery products.
  • Handle any customer complaints or feedback related to bakery products.
