Part of the Sandvik Group, we provide technology‑agnostic solutions that help manufacturers measure, analyze, and manage quality data across their production processes.Our software is used worldwide to improve product quality, optimize manufacturing performance, and support data‑driven decision‑making in complex industrial environments.Position SummaryWe are looking for a Technical Sales Operations Engineer to support our sales activities in India by ensuring efficient execution of the sales process and acting as a key operational link between Sales, Technical teams, and our global support functions.The role focuses on supporting technical sales activities, managing RFQs and proposals, coordinating internal stakeholders, and ensuring reliable execution from opportunity qualification through order closure.Working closely with Application Engineering, this position contributes to smooth sales execution while enabling technical teams to focus on their core expertise.Key Responsibilities1. Technical Sales Support (Pre‑Sales Framing)Support customer requirement analysis and solution framing in coordination with Sales and Application EngineeringProvide technical sales support up to solution framing level (in collaboration with Application Engineers and the Local Technical Leader)Participate in technical presentations and basic solution demonstrations when requiredEnsure alignment between customer needs, proposed solutions, and internal capabilities2. RFQ & Proposal ManagementAnalyse RFQs received via procurement platforms or direct sales channelsCoordinate internal contributors (Sales, Application Engineering, Finance, HQ teams)Consolidate scope, pricing inputs, timelines, and proposal documentationPrepare and secure high‑quality, compliant techno‑commercial proposalsSupport pre‑sales activities including AMC proposals and structured follow‑ups3. Sales Operations & CoordinationSupport opportunity tracking, pipeline updates, and forecast preparation in CRM toolsEnsure proper documentation of sales activities (quotations, purchase orders, licenses, internal validation flows)Act as an operational coordination point between Sales, Application Engineers, Sales Administration, Finance, and CustomersSupport smooth handover from sales opportunity to order execution4. Customer Interaction (Operational Scope)Act as a contact point for customers regarding technical or commercial clarifications during the sales process (non‑negotiation scope)Support onboarding coordination, license activation follow‑up, and operational handover to delivery/support teamsContribute to trusted and professional customer relationships5.
