Join the #VTeamLife.What you'll be doing…As Consultant - AI Science you will play a key role in building, deploying and managing end to end AI Services to power traditional and generative AI use cases.Building and deploying large scale foundational models using ML/DL and cognitiveManaging model design and best practices for model development end to endPlaying a key role in training, fine tuning and deploying generative models and use cases in productionBuilding and training statistical models and machine learning algorithmsDriving data-derived insights across the wide range of problem statement across business domain by developing advanced statistical models, machine learning algorithms and computational algorithms based on business initiativesDirecting the gathering of data, assessing data validity and synthesizing data into large analytics datasets to support project goalsAnalyzing structured and unstructured data using data mining/statistical/machine learning/deep learning tools, Data visualization, Digital/Web analytics tools and techniques and storytellingPerforming tasks related to Operationalization - eg wrapper script, REST service, Trigger, Monitoring etc.Preparation of all the supporting documents and reportsMentoring/Guiding members in the team on technical aspects, on need basis.What we are looking for: -You'll need to have:Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.Four or more years of relevant work experience.Three or more years as data scientist with exposure to full stack model development, deployment, evaluation, optimization and scaling.Experience on programming skills - proficiency in Python, PySpark, Java, C++ and R relevant AI libraries/frameworksUnderstanding of SOTA algorithms, especially in personalization, cognitive and generative models. Must have good understanding and ability to explain both the code and the underlying math used in algorithms/models.Familiarity with multi modal data, vector and graph databases and data warehousing fundamentalsExperience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS and their respective AI servicesKnowledge of GPU/CPU architecture and distributed computingUnderstanding of containerization(Docker) orchestration (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelinesExposure to large-scale AI training, understanding of the compute system concepts (latency/throughput bottlenecks, pipelining, multiprocessing etc) and related performance analysis and tuningAbility to communicate complex model designs and outcomes in business terms to a non-technical audience.Even better if you have :Advanced degree in computer science, Mathematics, Data science or similar fieldExperience in developing and deploying real time AI modelsPrior experience with Generative AI techniques applied to Large Language Models And multimodal learning (Image, Video, Speech etc.).#AI&DWhere you'll be working In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.Scheduled Weekly Hours 40Equal Employment OpportunityVerizon is an equal opportunity employer.
